Tour Plan

Day 01 Airport – Negombo

Upon arrival at the airport / or pre requested location in Colombo you will meet our guide(English speaking). Thereafter you will travel to Negombo.

Will Stay overnight in the hotel in Negombo.

Day 02 Negombo – Chilaw – Anuradapura

Travel to Anuradhapura, stopping en route at Munishwaram Temple and Manavari Temple in Chilaw. Munishwaram, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is closely linked to the Ramayana. Visit Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama is believed to have first worshipped a Shiva lingam after the war with Ravana. Continue to Anuradhapura after the visit.

Day 03 Anuradapura – Trincomalee

Explore key sites in Anuradhapura, a sacred city for Buddhists, home to the ancient Sri Maha Bodhi Tree—a 2,300-year-old sapling from the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. Then, transfer to Trincomalee and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 04 Trincomalee

Travel to Trincomalee, a coastal city rich in myth and history. Visit the sacred Koneswaram Temple, linked to Ravana and Lord Shiva. Explore Lover’s Leap and Fort Frederick, then unwind on the golden sands of Nilaveli or Uppuveli Beach. Overnight in Trincomalee.

Day 05 Trincomalee - Kandy

Transfer to Kandy, with a stop at the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress—often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Explore the ancient palace ruins, gardens, and famous frescoes, reminiscent of India’s Ajanta Caves. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant Cultural Dance Show in Kandy.

Day 06 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, a sacred site housing Lord Buddha’s tooth, symbolizing faith and tradition in Sri Lanka. Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route at Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil, believed to be where Lord Hanuman searched for Sita. Visit a tea factory and plantation to witness the making of Ceylon tea. Enjoy a relaxed evening in the cool climate of Nuwara Eliya.

Day07 Nuwara Eliya - Alla

Visit the Sita Amman Temple, believed to be where Sita was held captive by King Ravana and prayed for Lord Rama’s rescue. Explore the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, the legendary Ashok Vatika, where Sita met Hanuman for the first time. Then visit the Divarumpola Temple, the site of Sita’s fiery ordeal, where she proved her purity and devotion. That night, we will spend the the ella.

Day 08 Ella – Kataragama

Travel to Kataragama, stopping at the scenic Ravana Falls, believed to be where Ravana hid Sita in the nearby caves. In the evening, visit the Kataragama Temple, dedicated to Lord Karthikeya, who was sent by Lord Indra to aid Lord Rama in the final battle against Ravana.
Day 09 Kataragama – Yala

Depart for Kataragama, stopping at the stunning Ravana Falls, where Sita is believed to have been hidden in nearby caves by Ravana. In the evening, visit the Kataragama Temple, dedicated to Lord Karthikeya, who was sent by Lord Indra to protect Rama from Ravana’s final attack in the epic battle.

Day 10 Yala - Galle

Start the day with a safari at Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Later, transfer to Galle, stopping en route at Ussangoda National Park, believed in Hindu mythology to be the landing site of Ravana’s peacock chariot and the area scorched by Hanuman’s fiery tail during his battle with the Rakshasas.

Day 11 Galle

Begin the day with a visit to Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch and British. Spanning nearly 4 sq km, it’s protected by 12 bastions and historic ramparts. Continue to Rumassala Hill, near Unawatuna Beach, famous for its white dagoba and legendary connection to the Ramayana. It’s believed to be a fragment of Mount Dronagiri, dropped by Hanuman while carrying the Sanjeevani herb to heal Rama and Lakshmana. Rumassala is also said to have sheltered Sita during her time in Lanka.

Day 12 Galle - Airport

Leave the hotel at standards check-out time and proceed to the Airport for the departure.
